Prof. Dr. Shariffah Suhaila Syed Jamaludin<\/strong> received <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"768\">RM107,800.00<\/strong> for her project titled <em data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"906\">\u201cA Novel Integrated Multi-Order Markov Chains and Hierarchical Copula Structures for Tropical Wet-Day Dynamics.\u201d<\/em> Her research focuses on improving rainfall modeling and prediction accuracy for tropical climates through advanced probabilistic frameworks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1410\"><strong data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1072\">Dr. Farhana Johar<\/strong> was awarded <strong data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1101\">RM101,400.00<\/strong> for her project, <em data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1256\">\u201cAdvancing Fundamental Modeling of Leachate Generation by Integrating Evapotranspirative Losses in Malaysia&#8217;s High-Humidity Landfills.\u201d<\/em> The study aims to enhance environmental sustainability by refining landfill leachate modeling and incorporating hydrological and climatic interactions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1780\"><strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1444\">Dr. Muhamad Hanis Mohd Nasir<\/strong> secured <strong data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1469\">RM126,400.00<\/strong> for his research on <em data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1608\">\u201cDevelopment of Type-2 Diabetic Population Model with Time-Delay Parameter in Disease Progression and Complication.\u201d<\/em> His project seeks to provide a deeper understanding of diabetes progression dynamics through mathematical modeling, contributing to better disease management strategies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"2107\"><strong data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"1815\">Prof. Dr. Sharidan bin Shafie<\/strong> received <strong data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"1840\">RM70,500.00<\/strong> for his project entitled <em data-start=\"1866\" data-end=\"1966\">\u201cMagnetohydrodynamic Ternary Hybrid Nanofluid Dynamics on Inclined Surfaces with Melting Effects.\u201d<\/em> His work explores hybrid nanofluid behaviors under magnetic and thermal influences, with applications in energy and materials engineering.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2109\" data-end=\"2294\">Collectively, these projects reflect the Faculty\u2019s strong interdisciplinary approach\u2014bridging mathematics with environmental science, health modeling, and advanced materials research.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2296\" data-end=\"2478\">The Faculty of Science extends its heartfelt congratulations to all award recipients for their dedication, innovation, and contributions toward advancing UTM\u2019s research excellence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2480\" data-end=\"2633\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">For more inspiring research highlights from the Faculty of Science, visit <a data-start=\"2554\" data-end=\"2632\" class=\"decorated-link\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_new\" href=\"https:\/\/science.utm.my\/utmfsresearch\/\">https:\/\/science.utm.my\/utmfsresearch\/<span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"ms-0.5 inline-block align-middle leading-none\"><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243;
