By studying how heavy metals inhibit the <strong data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"921\">bilirubin oxidase-catalyzed oxygen reduction process<\/strong>, Dr. Amirah aims to establish a reliable biochemical approach for <strong data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1058\">monitoring seawater quality and detecting environmental pollutants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1513\">The project addresses pressing global concerns surrounding <strong data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1198\">marine pollution, heavy metal toxicity, and environmental sustainability<\/strong>, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6 \u2013 Clean Water and Sanitation, and SDG 14 \u2013 Life Below Water). The proposed electrochemical analysis has the potential to provide a <strong data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1449\">cost-effective and efficient diagnostic tool<\/strong> for environmental monitoring and marine ecosystem protection.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1943\">The <strong data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1582\">COMSTECH Research Grant Program for Young Women Researchers<\/strong> is a prestigious initiative that supports early-career female scientists from <strong data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1685\">OIC member countries<\/strong>, encouraging international collaboration, innovation, and leadership in science and technology.
