The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), is pleased to invite academic staff, researchers and postgraduate students to participate in Book Workshop Series 1<\/strong>, organised in conjunction with FS Research Month 2026<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entitled \u201cBook Chapter Writing Workshop: From Planning to Publication,\u201d<\/strong> the workshop aims to provide participants with practical guidance on developing a well-structured book chapter and managing the writing process from the initial planning stage to publication.<\/p>\n

The workshop will introduce participants to the essential stages of book chapter preparation, including identifying an appropriate topic, developing a clear chapter structure, organising relevant literature, improving academic writing and preparing a manuscript for publication.<\/p>\n

Participants will also gain useful insights into maintaining coherence, presenting information effectively and addressing common challenges encountered during the book-writing and publication process.<\/p>\n

This workshop provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and aspiring authors to strengthen their academic writing skills and transform their research knowledge into a publishable scholarly book chapter.<\/p>\n

All interested members of the Faculty of Science community are encouraged to participate.<\/p>\n
