JOHOR BAHRU, 29 July 2026<\/strong> \u2013 The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), organised a Science Seminar Series<\/strong> entitled \u201cEvidence-Based Practice for Teaching and Delivery at Higher Education\u201d<\/strong> at HELIxS, C17, Faculty of Science.<\/span><\/p>\n The seminar was held in collaboration with the Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (ISI-SIR), UTM<\/strong>, and the University of Bristol, United Kingdom<\/strong>, providing an international platform for knowledge sharing on effective approaches to teaching and learning in higher education.<\/p>\n The invited speaker, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, and Lecturer of Physics at the University of Bristol<\/strong>, shared perspectives on the importance of applying evidence-based approaches when designing, delivering and evaluating teaching practices at university level.<\/p>\n The session highlighted how educators can make more informed teaching decisions by drawing on educational evidence, reflective practice and approaches that respond to students\u2019 learning needs.
