JOHOR BAHRU, 1 October 2026<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), congratulates <\/span>Prof. Dr. Nor Haniza Sarmin<\/span><\/strong> from the <\/span>Department of Mathematical Sciences<\/span><\/strong> for receiving the <\/span>Hadiah Sanjungan (Mathematical Innovation Category)<\/span><\/strong> at the <\/span>Majlis Anugerah Persatuan Sains Matematik Malaysia (PERSAMA) 2026<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The recognition was awarded for her mathematical innovation entitled <\/span>\u201cT.I. Calc of the Zero Divisor Graph for the Ring Z\u209a\u1d4fq.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The innovation applies mathematical concepts related to <\/span>zero-divisor graphs and ring theory<\/span><\/strong> to provide a systematic approach for mathematical calculation and analysis.
