Associate Professor Dr. Nor Azimah Mohd Zain and Team Lead the Way in Sustainable Agriculture<\/strong><\/p>\n The Faculty of Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has once again proven its commitment to sustainability and innovation by winning the Silver Medal<\/strong> at the Industrial Art & Technology Exhibition (INATEX) 2024<\/strong>. Associate Professor Dr. Nor Azimah Mohd Zain from the Department of Biosciences, along with her team, were recognized for their project titled “Sustainable Fertilization, Eco-Friendly Innovation.”<\/em><\/p>\n The project, which focused on promoting eco-friendly fertilization techniques, highlights an important breakthrough in sustainable agriculture. The research team members included Dr. Zarita Zakaria, Dr. Nurzila Ab Latif, Dr. Nurashikin Ihsan, Dr. Nurliyana Ahmad Zawawi,<\/strong> and Ts Dr. Teo Chee Loong<\/strong> from Agri Season Sdn. Bhd. Together, they developed an environmentally safe fertilization method that reduces chemical waste and improves crop yield, offering a practical solution for agricultural sustainability.<\/p>\n The recognition at INATEX 2024 underscores UTM\u2019s role as a leader in driving eco-friendly innovations and contributing to the global conversation on sustainability.
