Planning and Coordination of Scheduled Waste Disposal
a) Assist the Lab Manager in planning chemical scheduled waste disposal management at the PTJ.
b) Prepare disposal plans via application forms based on type, quantity, and hazard level.
c) Supervise generated waste and notify CMU of disposal needs.
d) Provide statistics and brief reports on waste generation at the PTJ.
Inventory Management and Records
a) Collect, maintain, and update the scheduled waste inventory at the PTJ.
b) Keep inventory records at the designated temporary storage.
c) ESubmit inventory lists when required by relevant parties.s.
Safety Control and Storage
a) Ensure labeling, segregation, and storage follow the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Waste) Regulations 2005.
b) Ensure storage areas and racks are organized, clean, and safe (5S practice).
Compliance and User Awareness
a) Ensure every lab generating waste has complete and updated waste cards.
b) Help ensure PTJ staff comply with the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
c) Responsible for disseminating the latest information from CMU to PTJ staff.

Biological Waste
Act as the supervisor and coordinator for biological waste disposal activities at the Responsibility Center (PTJ).
Manage and coordinate the segregation, labeling, collection, and inventory record-keeping of biological waste at the PTJ.
Ensure workers/staff at the PTJ use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during biological waste disposal activities for safety purposes.
Be on standby during biological waste collection days carried out by the appointed contractor company
Attend continuous training in biosafety management, specifically in biological waste management.
Advise and provide guidance on biological waste management to the members of your respective PTJ.
