Global STEM and Tropical Experience Summer School (STEM-TREES)

The Global STEM & Tropical Experience Summer School 2026 (STEM-TREES) is an international experiential learning programme organised by the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

This programme aims to provide participants with immersive exposure to multidisciplinary STEM learning through hands-on scientific activities, sustainability education, environmental exploration, innovation challenges, and cultural experiences in tropical Malaysia.

Participants will engage in practical workshops and scientific demonstrations in biotechnology, environmental science, astronomy, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and sustainability while exploring the rich biodiversity and culture of Johor, Malaysia.

The programme also promotes international networking, intercultural communication, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills among participants from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
