The Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), proudly congratulates Dr. Farah Hanis Juhari and her team from the Department of Biosciences for winning the Gold Medal at the New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI 2025) competition.
Their award-winning project, titled “AI-Assisted Learning and Game-Based Strategies for Enhancing Skin Cancer and Sun Awareness in Schools,” leverages artificial intelligence and gamification to promote health education among school students. The innovative approach empowers young learners with engaging and interactive modules to increase awareness of sun safety and skin cancer prevention.
