Dr. Shariffah Suhaila Syed Jamaluddin has been awarded Outstanding Poster Presentation in JSPS Asian Core Program,  Comprehensive Symposium III (CS3), Obaku Plaza, Uji Campus, Kyoto University. The symposium was held from 28 to 29 October 2013, with the title of the presentation “Characterisation of daily rainfall data over Johor, Peninsular Malaysia.”
