4th Malaysia Mathematics in Industry Study Group
Malaysia Mathematics in Industry Study Group (MMISG) is a collaborative problem-solving workshop where Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) researchers tackle real life problems shared by industries. They help to determine the key scientific issues and mathematical challenges to be confronted. The teams formulate their ideas in an accessible way in order to realise the benefits from modelling, analysis and computation.

WORKSHOP: INTRODUCTION TO GIS USING QGIS

The objectives of this workshop were:
- To improve researchers’ knowledge and skills in mapping by using QGIS.
- To understand the use of QGIS in statistical analysis.
- To provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to discuss research development in climate change.

This seminar was organized by Climate Change Research Group (CCRG), Resource Sustainability, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. All CCRGS’s members took part in the workshop. Prof. Madya Dr. Ani Shabri was invited as the speaker of this workshop. This workshop has motivated the members to produce the copyright based on their research findings.

Bibliometric for Research Workshop was held on 11 April 2021 at UTM, Johor. This seminar was organized by Climate Change Research Group (CCRG), Resource Sustainability, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. All Prof. Dr. Fadhilah Yusof’s students took part in the workshop. Madam Nor Hafizah Hussin was invited as the speaker of this workshop. The main objective of this workshop is to provide exposure to post-graduate students under the supervision of Prof Dr Fadhilah Yusof on one of the statistical methods that can be used for books, articles, and other publications analysing.
INTRODUCTION TO PYTHON FOR RESEARCHERS WORKSHOP

Introduction to Python for Researchers Workshop was held from 29 to 30 January 2020 at UTM, Johor. This seminar was organized by Climate Change Research Group (CCRG), Resource Sustainability, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. 22 partcipants from all universities in Malaysia took part in the workshop.
The objectives of this workshop were to introduce Python programming to staff members, to train the trainers and to equip the participants with essential skills to use Python for Big Data analysis.
