INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ADVANCED STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS & OPERATIONAL RESEARCH (IDORE2020)

iADORE2020 was a collaborative effort between the main organiser, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), together with University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh and Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Indonesia; supported by Institut Statistik Malaysia (ISM). This event was part of UTM International:  Online Global Classroom (OGC) program.

UTM organising committee was represented by members from the Department of Mathematical Sciences research groups: Climate Change Research Group (CCRG), Statistical Modelling (STAM) Research Group and  Research Group in Mathematical Optimization (RGMO). DU organising committee is represented by members from the Institute of Statistical Research & Training (ISRT). 

UTM-CSU JOINT SEMINAR ON COPULA APPLICATIONS 2019

The Joint Seminar on Copula Applications between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor and Caraga State University (CSU), Philippines was held on 14th July 2019 in UTM, Johor. This seminar was organized by Climate Change Research Group (CCRG), Resource Sustainability, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Seven partcipants from the Caraga State University took part in the seminar; also in attendance were the Vice President of Research, Innovation and Extension, Vice President of Academic Affairs, and Directors for center and faculty researcher.

The objective of the seminar was to share and exchange ideas pertaining to copula applications, mathematical modelling and real-world statistical problems especially in the context of climate change, agriculture and others. This seminar has opened an excellent platform for research networking opportunities between UTM and CSU.
