About ISMI2024

The International Seminar on Mathematics in Industry 2024 (ISMI2024) is a conference fostering collaboration and synergy within the Quadruple Helix model, uniting academia, government agencies, industry, and the community. This event is dedicated to disseminating knowledge and exchanging experiences and research findings across all facets of industrial mathematics and statistics.

Since its inception in 2013, ISMI has established itself as a multidisciplinary platform. facilitating discussions between mathematical scientists and industry practitioners. ISMI serves as a forum to explore emerging developments, innovations, and address challenges encountered in real-world industrial problems. Building upon the successes of previous editions, namely ISMI2013ISMI2017ISMI-ICTAS2018, and ISMI2021, closer ties have been forged between mathematical scientists and industry partners in Malaysia through impactful project collaborations.

This year, ISMI2024 is scheduled to take place on September 9-th to 11-th, 2024 with the theme:
    “Mathematical Evolution Guiding Industrial Innovation Futures”.

The special highlight of ISMI2024 is the Forum Mathematics for Industry 2024 (FMfI2024). This forum serves as a focal point for experts, professionals, and enthusiasts to engage in in-depth discussions, exchange insights, and explore innovative solutions for complex industrial challenges.

ISMI2024 is organized by UTM-Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (UTM-CIAM) and the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, UTM.
