Fifteen teachers from SMK Skudai participated in a fun, hands-on Roselle Lip Balm Workshop on 20 February 2025 at IBD, UTM, themed “Unleash Your Beauty with Gorgeous Lippy.”
Led by Ts. Dr. Siti Pauliena Mohd Bohari (Department of Biosciences) and team under the KTP grant, the workshop guided participants in transforming school-grown organic roselle into natural lip balm using beeswax, shea butter, and roselle extract — blending science, sustainability, and creativity.
Participants also toured UTM’s bioproduct labs, gaining real-world insights into cosmetic formulation and natural product innovation.
