Johor Bahru, 9 October 2025 — The Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Innovation & Commercialisation Centre (UTM ICC) proudly organize 27th Industrial Art & Technology Exhibition & Competition (INATEX 2025) with theme “Harnessing AI for a Resilient and Sustainable Future”. The annual event, held at UTM’s Kuala Lumpur campus, showcased cutting-edge projects that marry scientific rigor with real-world impact.
Two projects from Department of Biosciences have won awards:

Dr Mira binti Panadi’s Napiermix TMR Silage: a ready-to-use complete livestock feed that streamlines ration preparation and enhances nutrient uptake for dairy and beef herds. (Silver Medal Award)

Associate Professor Dr Nor Azimah bt Mohd Zain’s Ecogold Smart Monitoring System: an integrated platform that uses IoT sensors and data analytics to optimize water and fertilizer use in field crops. (Bronze Medal Award)
