Biosciences course code “SMBB4583 Ecology” going GLOBAL- thanks to Online Global Classroom (OGC) Platform
Professor Fahrul Huyop was appointed as Virtual Visiting Professor at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in Malang, Indonesia. One of the many agendas was to promote OGC in line with UTM policy on internalisation especially the academic programmes. On the 26th of October 2020, 197 students from Universitas Brawijaya (UB) and 46 outbound UTM students attended the Online Global Classroom (OGC) by the Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Aquatic Resource management Study Program of Universitas Brawijaya (UB). This international OGC was delivered by the Virtual Visiting Professors/Senior Lecturers & Practitioners in Environmental Conservation from both faculties in UTM & UB. One of them Mr. Rosek Nursahid (S.Si.) of Universitas Brawijaya, who spoke about River Conservation. The course content was based on the existing course information (CI) offered in the current semester (1) 2020/2021, SMBB4583 ECOLOGY, taught by Professor Fahrul Huyop. The program starts on 23rd October and will end in November 6th.
