Our B.Sc. degree programmes prepare students for careers in research and industry through internship schemes. Students are expected to spend their third year in full-time employment for at least 3 months, giving them the opportunity to gain work experience before graduating.
Students carry out a substantial individual project in their final year as part of their requirements in attaining their degrees. Each project is supervised by an academic member at the Department of Chemistry, and assessed under subject codes PSMI and PSMII. At the end of their project, students are required to present their work at the Simposium Projek Sarjana Muda and submit a dissertation.
