The principles of physics contribute to the understanding of the physical world and provide scientists with the insight to develop new innovative ideas. The integration of physics and the technologies developed by physicists play a major role in engineering and other scientific fields. The department aims to integrate the knowledge of physics with other fields to provide an impetus for the state-of-the art physics technologies, frontier physics research, as well as the creation of Nobel Laureate candidates.
