Associate Professor Dr. Hazri Bakhtiar obtained his Ph.D. in Microelectronics at Université de Metz – Technopôle Metz 2000, Metz, France. He is the Director of Laser Centre, Committee members of Postgraduate, Research, Publication, and Dept. of Physics, which oversees staff and student training, and often at the faculty level. He is a mentor at the faculty’s SUNSHINE++ program, which nurtures research excellence in young academic staff. His research encompasses Radiation & Hardness Study, Electronic and Optoelectronic Devices, Laser & Non-Linear Optic Application, and Optical Fibre Sensors.
