Associate Professor Dr. Amiruddin Shaari obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering (Nondestructive Testing-NDT) from the University of Liverpool, UK. He is the Head of Panel of Physics Instrumentation in the Department of Physics. He is a mentor at the faculty’s SUNSHINE++ program, which nurtures research excellence in young academic staff. His research encompasses the applications & simulations in electromagnetic methods of NDT and the ab-initio or first-principles calculations in materials science.
