Associate Professor Dr. Ani bin Shabri obtained his Ph.D. in Statistic at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He serves as a mentor in the faculty’s SUNSHINE++ programme, which encourages research excellence in younger academic staff. His research focuses on flood frequency analysis and forecasting time series using statistical models and artificial intelligence techniques. He has successfully graduated 13 PhD students and 19 Master’s students. He has published nearly 100 indexed journals and served as an evaluator for more than 40 indexed journals.
