Double Honors for the Faculty of Science’s Ts. ChM. Dr. Faizuan Abdullah!
We are excited to celebrate Ts. ChM Dr. Faizuan Abdullah, who has been awarded the UTM Inventor Award in the Science & Technology Category as well as the Innovation & Product Commercialization Award for the pioneering work on Molluscure® – Bivalve Mollusc Toxic Metals Removal Technology.
Dr. Faizuan’s commitment to innovation is showcased through his leadership in developing innovative technologies such as Oil2Wang™, Molluscure®, NanoBlast™ and NemaMed™.
The Molluscure® technology, designed to remove toxic metals from molluscs, has played a crucial role in enhancing food safety and protecting the environment.
His relentless pursuit of excellence and his significant contributions to science and technology highlight the strength and vision of the Faculty of Science.
This achievement also reflects our faculty’s commitment to producing impactful innovations that address global challenges, including environmental issues, food contamination, water treatment and tropical disease prevention.
