UTM, in collaboration with SMK Pulai Jaya, recently organized a STEM-focused “Forensic Seminar and Career Forum” for 88 Form 3 students. The event, led by the Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials (CSNano) under UTM’s Faculty of Science, aimed to ignite students’ interest in forensic science by showing how various scientific disciplines can be applied in real-world legal investigations.
The program featured expert talks, including a session by Ts. Dr. Naji Arafat Hj Mahat, who discussed the diverse scientific applications in forensic investigations. The event also included a career forum with UTM lecturers highlighting science-related career opportunities, inspiring students to explore future studies in STEM fields.
This initiative is part of UTM’s broader effort to engage with local communities and nurture future scientists through educational outreach programs.
