Congratulations to Dr. Nurhafizah Hasim (Department of Physics) and team for securing a Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) Grant from Nippon Sheet Glass Foundation for Materials Science and Engineering (NSG Foundation) with a total fund of USD 4,500 entitled Enhancing Near-Infrared Luminescence by Graphene/Ag-NPs Hybrid Structure of 20Li2O-5Bi2O3-(74-x)TeO2-1Er-xAg Mixed Ionic-Electronic Glasses. This grant will commence for a period of 24 months, starting from the 1st of January 2022 till the 31st of December 2023.
Hopefully, this will spark off more collaboration and research grants involving the researcher in our faculty.
