Dr. Huszalina Hussin obtained her Ph.D in Biosciences at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is the Program Coordinator for Mix Mode MSc (Biotechnology. She is currently appointed as an academic and consultant by Iskandar Puteri City Council under the Green Technology Application for Low Town Development program Carbon (GTALCC) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Global Environmental Facility (GEF) for environmental sustainability and community garden programs. Her research encompasses recycling projects and turning organic waste to compost fertilisers. The latest programme with Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB), Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) and Medini Iskandar Malaysia (MIM) to drive the long-term training programme of composting and urban agriculture known as Iskandar Puteri Agriculturalist Community (IPAC).
