Dr. Zaidah obtained her Ph.D. (Plant Molecular Biology and Proteomics) at Imperial College London. She is currently holding an academic administrator post as Manager of Chemical Management Unit at the University Laboratory Management Centre. Additionally, she is also a research fellow at Innovation Centre in Agritechnology for Advanced Bioprocessing (ICA) situated in UTM Pagoh. As a plant biotechnologist, she is a member of the Australasian Proteomics Society (APS) since 2019. Her research has expanded from exploring local Malaysian medicinal plants via proteomics profiling to in silico molecular modelling and downstream application including product development, although every aspect of plant development is of her interest.
