The workshop on How to Win Industrial Grants, in collaboration with Research Month@FS 2023, was successfully held on March 12, 2023, at Auditorium Al-Razi Hall and Al-Dinawari Hall, T02 FS. The workshop began with a presentation by Ts. Dr. Azlin Binti Abd Jamil (Double Tax Deduction) and Ts. Shahrulnizahani Mohammad Din (Matching Grant). Then the Forum on How to Get the Industrial Grant: Expertise Session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roswanira Abdul Wahab, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arifah Bahar and Dr. Izyan Hazwani Hashim provided valuable tips and insights to the participants comprising Academic Staff.
Then the workshop continued with a mentoring session including the evaluation and review of the participants’ grants, facilitated by three experts from three panels, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roswanira Abdul Wahab, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arifah Bahar and Dr Izyan Hazwani Hashim. In this session, participants were provided with tips, feedback, and guidance on improving their grants before submission. This workshop will continue with ongoing progress checks scheduled every three months to ensure grants are accepted this year.
