Reseacher Profile Associate Professor Dr Nor Azimah Mohd Zain

Associate Professor Dr Nor Azimah Mohd Zain obtained her Ph.D. in Engineering (Bioprocess) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is currently a Community (STEM Cluster) committee member at the Department of Bioscience, Faculty of Science. She is also a section editor for the Journal of Materials in Life Sciences (JOMALISC). She has been awarded UTM Shine grant by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) which encourages UTM’s young researchers to pursue high-impact research and produce high-quality research output. Besides that, she is also a member of Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) which was awarded by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). Her research focuses on the production of value-added products from waste, waste water treatment and antibiotic resistance bacteria surveillance.
