Researcher Profile Ts. Dr. Muhammad Safwan Abd Aziz

Ts. Dr. Muhammad Safwan Abd Aziz received his Ph.D. (Fast Track Program) in Physics (Photonics) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is the current acting coordinator for a generic research program at the faculty level, a program that offers leading-edge research study that allows a candidate to explore the multidiscipline research topic related to science and mathematics. He is appointed as a mentor in the SUNSHINE++ program, which nurtures research excellence in young academic staff at the Faculty of Science. His research encompasses applied optics and advanced 3D manufacturing processes incorporating high-power laser systems.
