Dr. Nor Ezzaty binti Ahmad obtained her Ph.D. in Nuclear Materials at Imperial College London. She is a senior lecturer at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, and a member of the Nuclear and Radiation Physics Research Group. She currently acts as a Deputy Director (Biosafety and Radiation) of the UTM OSHE Office which coordinates the activities regarding biosafety and radiation in UTM to ensure compliance with related acts and regulations. She is also an assistant coordinator of the Pure Physics program and is actively involved in academics and student development programs here. Her research encompasses amorphous materials in radioactive waste immobilization and biomaterials applications and dosimetry. She currently collaborates with Advanced Medical and Dental Institute, USM, Imperial College London and Atom Malaysia for her research.
