Ts. ChM. Dr. Faizuan Abdullah obtained his Ph.D in Chemistry (UTM). He is a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He received the Bachelor and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in chemical science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Dr. Faizuan is the deputy head of the Separation Science and Technology (SepSTec) research group and has expertise in analytical instruments such as AAS, and voltammetry. Dr. Faizuan is a member of various professional bodies in and outside the country including the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM), Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT), Malaysian Analytical Science Association (ANALIS), Malaysian Sensor Development Association (Sensor Malaysia), Malaysian Water Association (MWA), Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC, United Kingdom), American Chemical Society (ACS), and also the International Water Association (IWA). His/her research encompasses analytical chemistry and environmental chemistry.
