Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zarina Mohd Khalid obtained her Ph.D in Statistics at the University of Kent and M.Sc in Statistics at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. She is the Director at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science and currently the leader of Statistical Modelling Research Group and head of Statistics Panel at the Department of Mathematical Sciences. She is recently a mentor at the Faculty’s SUNSHINE++ and Teaching Mentoring Excellence (TeaMEXL) Programs. She involves in reviewing journal articles at national and international levels. Her current research interest includes statistical analysis, survival modelling and analysis, robust statistics and Bayesian networking.
