Dr. Azman Abd Samad obtained his Ph.D. in Plant Science at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He is the current senior lecturer at the Department of Biosciences. He is also a life member of the Asian Federation of Biotechnology Malaysian Chapter (AFOBMC) since 2010. His research encompasses micropropagation of crop and medicinal plants, plant genetic modification and smart farming.
