Researcher Profile Dr. Khairil Juhanni Abd Karim

Dr. Khairil Juhanni Abd Karim obtained her Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia. She is currently the Chair of Committee of Welfare for the Department of Chemistry which looks after the welfare of students and staff at the department level. At the faculty level, she is a mentor in AS103 and SUNSHINE++ program for new academic staff to nurture good postgraduate supervision and research excellence. Her research focuses on polymer synthesis using free-radical polymerisation (conventional, RAFT and ATRP) for various homo and copolymers in application on polysaccharide modifications, metal/dye adsorption/desorption and control-release fertiliser (CRF).
