Congratulations to our beloved Dean, Prof. ChM. Dr. Abdull Rahim Mohd Yusoff, for being appointed as Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) for the year 2020. This appointment was based on Prof. Rahim’s outstanding achievements in science, which include his election as the Chairman of the Scientific Committee for Sungai Kim Kim, appointed by MESTECC (now known as MOSTI). This year, 20 new Fellows were appointed and Fellows of ASM are given the right to use the designatory of FASc. This appointment signifies the high level of academics at the University, specifically our Faculty, and it is hoped that this appointment will inspire our staff and students to be just as successful.
